		<description><![CDATA[Perhaps you&#8217;ve noticed the newly replaced &#8220;College Ave.&#8221; and &#8220;Anthony St.&#8221; street signs, whose predecessors had gone missing. Check out this story in the Columbia Missourian about street sign theft, as well as the reporter&#8217;s follow-up story.  &#8220;Williams&#8221; and the other &#8220;Anthony&#8221; sign, however, have yet to be replaced.

		<title>Boone Hospital project breaks ground</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Construction of the $14 million expansion of Boone Hosital has forced the closing of the sidewalk on William Street between Bass and Broadway. A previous newsletter highlighted that Boone Hospital is in the process of adding a patient tower and parking garage on William Street. Work on the five-level, 900 space garage broke ground early last month. 		<title>Work progresses on Cliff Drive Park</title>
		<description><![CDATA[As you may have noticed, the city has made strides in their work on Cliff Drive Park. Mike Griggs, park services manager for the Parks and Recreation Department, recently said that the project should hopefully be completed within the next few weeks.The department has been working on the park for about a year now.

		<description><![CDATA[On their website, the city of Columbia has a list of upcoming holiday events hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department. 
The site gives general information about a variety of events, including a visit with Santa December 7th, a holiday toy drive that lasts through December 19th and the Holiday Lights and Sights tours.
